Booking and staying
What time can I check in and check out?
The apartment is available from 3 pm on your arrival day and must be vacated by 10 am on your departure day.
What is the minimum stay?
From 2 to 5 nights depending on the period. Available dates and the minimum stay are shown when you book.
How do I book?
Directly on this website, through the secure Reservit booking engine: live availability, rates and online payment. Depending on the rate, a deposit or the full amount is paid when booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 120 days before arrival. After that, fees apply: 30% of the stay from 120 days before arrival, 50% from 30 days, 100% from 15 days. In case of no-show, the full amount is due. This policy applies to all rates.
Is a security deposit required?
No, no security deposit is required.
Is cleaning included?
Yes: end-of-stay cleaning and laundry are included in the price shown when you book. Cleaning during your stay is available for an extra fee.
Is the tourist tax included?
No, prices include VAT but not the local tourist tax, which is €1.50 per adult per day.
Which languages do you speak?
French, English and German.
The apartment
How many guests can stay?
Up to 8 guests, including a maximum of 6 adults.
What are the bedrooms like?
Three air-conditioned bedrooms with a safe: two bedrooms with a queen-size bed, and a family room with a queen-size bed and two 90 × 200 single beds, for 2 adults and 2 children under 16.
How many bathrooms are there?
One bathroom with a walk-in shower, hairdryer and natural toiletries with Reunion Island scents, and a separate toilet.
Is the pool private?
It is the residence's pool. It is fenced, and the apartment has direct access to it from its garden, through a staircase and a dedicated gate. The residence has only 9 apartments, just 2 of them holiday rentals: the pool is quiet and you often have it to yourselves.
Is there parking?
Yes, two private underground parking spaces, with a lift from the car park to the ground floor.
Is the apartment wheelchair accessible?
Yes. A lift connects the car park to the ground floor, the shower is step-free and the garden can be reached without steps. A staircase leads from the garden to the pool; guests with reduced mobility can reach the pool level by lift.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi is included, as well as a smart TV.
What is in the kitchen and laundry room?
Open-plan fitted kitchen: fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster. Laundry room: washing machine, dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner.
Is household linen provided?
Yes: bed linen, bath towels, and pool and beach towels.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed.
Can I smoke?
Not indoors: smoking is not allowed in the apartment, in the common areas or at the pool. You may smoke outside, at the dining table area or in the garden.
Can we hold a party?
No, parties and receptions are not allowed, and access to the residence is restricted to guests.
Families
Is the apartment suitable for children?
Yes: a family room (queen-size bed and two single beds), a fenced residence pool, and on request a baby cot, a changing mat and a high chair.
Getting there and around
How far is the beach?
The La Saline-les-Bains lagoon is 300 m away as the crow flies, about 1 km by road: a 10-minute walk or 2 minutes by car.
How do I get there from the airport?
Roland-Garros airport is 50 minutes away by car. A transfer can be arranged for an extra fee.
Do I need a car?
Not to enjoy the lagoon: the beach is a 10-minute walk away. Two private parking spaces are available if you rent a car.
Can we see whales?
Yes, from June to October, whales can be seen from the apartment's terrace.
